The short version
ProcureLevel is designed as an offline-first learning app. It has no learner account, advertising, behavioural analytics or tracking. Your profile, optional profile photo, study plan, exam dates, answers and learning progress are stored in the app's private storage on your device. The app does not send this learning data to a developer server.
The app only passes information outside the device when:
- you choose to send a support or content-feedback email using your email app;
- Apple processes an App Store purchase or restores an entitlement; or
- you choose to open an external source or policy link.
Support emails and external links only occur when you choose them. The App Store communicates with ProcureLevel as needed to process, confirm or restore purchases and entitlement status.
Information stored on your device
Depending on the features you use, ProcureLevel may store:
- your preferred name and optional profile photo;
- your procurement experience stage and learning preferences;
- selected qualification, modules and study-session preferences;
- exam plans, dates and reminder settings;
- lesson completion, quiz answers, confidence ratings, mock-exam attempts, written-answer practice, review items and mastery progress;
- accessibility, appearance, sound, haptic and motion settings; and
- local purchase-entitlement status returned by the App Store.
This information is used to personalise lessons, build study and revision plans, schedule optional local notifications, show progress and restore purchased content. It is held in the app's private storage on your device. We do not receive this learning data on a developer server.
The profile photo is optional. ProcureLevel copies the selected image into its private app storage and does not upload it. Removing the photo or deleting all local data removes the app-owned copy; the original image in your photo library is not changed.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, your device schedules study and exam notifications from the plan stored locally. ProcureLevel does not use a remote push-notification service. You can turn reminders off in the app or in your device settings.
App Store purchases
Apple processes ProcureLevel purchases on iPhone and iPad. Apple may provide ProcureLevel with the product purchased, purchase status and information needed to grant or restore access. ProcureLevel does not receive or store your full payment-card details. Apple handles payment information under its own terms and privacy notice.
Support and content feedback
When you choose to report an issue, ProcureLevel prepares an email for you to review, edit and send through your chosen email service. Nothing is sent automatically. If you send the email, we receive the sender address, message, diagnostic details included in the draft, and any information you add.
We use that correspondence to answer your request, investigate the issue, maintain content quality and protect the service. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in supporting learners and improving ProcureLevel, or taking steps connected with our contract with you where applicable.
Support and feedback correspondence is normally retained for up to 24 months after the matter is closed. We may keep a record longer where reasonably necessary for a complaint, legal obligation or legal claim. Please do not include confidential employer, supplier, special-category or unnecessary personal information in a report.
External links
ProcureLevel includes links to references, privacy information and other external websites. Those services receive information normally sent by your browser, such as your IP address and device/browser information, and operate under their own privacy notices. Opening a link is optional.
Sharing and international transfers
We do not sell learner data. We do not share on-device learning data because we do not receive it. Information you voluntarily email may be processed by our email and IT service providers acting for us. Apple independently processes App Store transactions. Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom; where we appoint a processor, we use appropriate contractual and legal safeguards.
We may disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Security and device backups
ProcureLevel uses app-private local storage. App data may be included in operating-system or iCloud backups according to your Apple device and account settings. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take proportionate technical and organisational measures to protect information we control. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and email account.
Retention and deletion
On-device information remains until you remove it, clear the app's storage or uninstall the app, subject to operating-system and backup behaviour. In ProcureLevel, open Settings > Privacy & trust > Delete all local data to remove the profile, app-owned photo copy, exam plans, reminders, answers, progress, review schedule and settings from that device.
ProcureLevel has no learner account, so there is no separate online account to delete. Purchase records remain with Apple and may be restored separately through the purchasing Apple account.
Your rights
UK data-protection law may give you rights over personal information that we hold, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and data portability. Because learning data remains on your device, we cannot retrieve it from our systems. For information sent to us, contact requests@prestigecommercialconsulting.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity.
You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, but we would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first.
Children
ProcureLevel supports professional study and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly provide accounts or collect children's learning data on a developer server.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when the app, law or our service providers change. The current version will remain available at this address, with the effective date shown above. Material changes will be communicated in an appropriate way.
